Barriss Offee is a Jedi Knight who appeared in the Star Wars Prequels era, specifically during the Clone Wars. She first appeared in *Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones* as a background character.

She gained prominence in the *Clone Wars* animated TV show as a Padawan and friend to Ahsoka Tano. Together, they undertook numerous missions for the Republic. Barriss was known for her skill in healing and her deep understanding of Jedi philosophy.

However, her faith in the Jedi Order eroded due to the corruption and violence she witnessed during the Clone Wars. This disillusionment led her to orchestrate a bombing of the Jedi Temple, framing Ahsoka Tano for the crime. She hoped to expose the Jedi Order's failings.

Ultimately, Barriss's actions resulted in Ahsoka's temporary departure from the Jedi Order. Barriss was apprehended and her fate following the event remains somewhat open-ended within established canon.
